Exploring Edinburgh

(Burial site of Adam Smith)

I had chose to explore my options at the University of Glasgow because I had known Adam Smith, known as the father of economics, had attended the university and their business school was named in his honor. However, I had not known until one of the Arcadia orientation staff mentioned it that Adam Smith had been laid to rest in Edinburgh. Having studied his book Wealth of Nations and having his as my intellectual hero, it was a must to make the trip to his burial site.

(Scottish Parliament)

Not the most beautiful building in Scotland, however, it certainly was part of my cultural learning of the Scottish people and their country.
